New Generation Serre Chevalier is a small and friendly ski school run by British coach, Gavin Crosby.
New Generation instructors are some of the most highly qualified ski teachers in the Alps. All instructors hold full French equivalence which means they can teach all levels from beginner to off-piste expert! Many of their instructors, including Gavin, are also BASI [British Association of Snowsport Instructors] trainers.
Whether in a group course or personal coaching session, you'll benefit from the teams enthusiasm and life-long passion for alpine skiing. Enjoy individual attention, lots of involvement and video feedback, in some of the smallest groups in the Alps.
New Generations' coaching approach is so different from that of conventional ski schools, many say their group courses felt like private lessons!
A range of coaching options are available; short, focused courses ensure you get maximum time free skiing, and there's no waiting for ski lifts as all New Generation instructors command lift priority right across the valley.
Safety, safety, safety. New Generation advises that all children wear helmets and are dressed adequately to keep warm and dry, and all those accompanying instructors off-piste will be supplied with free avalanche safety equipment.

New chair lift links Villeneuve and Monetier
BIG news for winter 2010/11! A new high-speed six-man chair lift is being installed on the Cucumelle piste and this massively improves the link between Villeneuve and Monêtier. It’s called Télésiège des Vallons and starts just below the Lacets blue run, next to Village de Fréjus in the Villeneuve sector (2000 metres altitude). It ends at the top of the Cucumelle chair lift in Monêtier.
