We have been thinking about creating a ski tips section for quite a while, we even had an all day coffee meeting to plan the best tips and and how we would shoot them. But during the meeting we ended up trading You Tube videos with each other of our favourite videos. A lightbulb came on above all our heads as we hit the 3rd round of coffees - why don't we post the videos we like on our site?

So, here you go. Here are the videos we love and use - we think they are really good - we hope you find them useful. Sorry about the silly ones that got in.....(they would have come from Ali). We will post more skiing related videos as we get nearer the season!

Why? I love this video. I love his commitment to the bumps and training. An inspiration to us all.

2. Choice of Warren Hogben (Director and Ski Instructor)

Why? I found this when I was looking for some short turn examples for my coaching group. I love the guy's voice - so old school it is fantastic. They have even put some 80's synth music in the background - a real trip down memory lane for me. I still have my head band that I used to wear doing these drills (should I have mentioned that?).

Why? I know it should have been a skiing video but I had to get this one in. I really admire people who are at the top of their sport. The training he must have put in to make it look easy is just incredible. I can watch this video again and again. It always inspires me and pushes me to do better.

Why? I was sent this video by Jake from our team in Verbier. I didn't ask him to do it - he just went and did it. I think it captures the team spirirt and the passion that our instructors have for skiing. Jake is part of our training team in Verbier, working in peak periods and training for his final exams in non-peak weeks. You won't find better instructors in Verbier.
