Welcome to the New Generation Ski and Snowboard School website. We are a group of highly qualified instructors who are licensed to teach in France and Switzerland. We have ski schools in Courchevel 1650, Courchevel 1850, Meribel, Tignes, Val d'isere, Vallandry, and Verbier.
As a British run ski school, we mainly serve the British market. All our lessons are taught in English.
This year we are celebrating our tenth anniversary. We were one of the first British Ski Schools to start up in the Alps, since then we have won the Ski School of the Year Award twice and grown from 1 resort to 7! Read more about our history
New Generation is the Official Ski Instructor Training Centre for the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI). We run a number of ski instructor courses including Ski GAP Courses. Please visit our ski instructor courses pages for more details.

Ali Rainback - Just Giving
IIn June 2008, Ali Rainback, one of the founders of New Generation and best friend, lost his fight against cancer. We are currently setting up some web pages dedicated to Ali and his life. In the meantime please visit his Just Giving site and help friends and family raise money for the Hospice that looked after him in his final few weeks. Ali we miss you.

Great conditions! Dec 20th 2008
We experienced our first sunny day today giving us a chance to enjoy the fantastic snow conditions. Over the last two weeks all our resorts have experienced significant snow falls from Courchevel to Tignes to Verbier. All our ski schools report fantastic conditions! Fire burns down Val d'Isere apartments
A fire has engulfed the infamous La Daille apartment block in Val d'Isere. Located next to the pistes - love them or hate them the apartment blocks played a key role in housing resort staff. More news
