Now that we have returned from our half term trip and the dust has settled I just wanted to email our thanks for your great service. Our children were in Whippersnappers with Andy Galbraith and my husband and I had a private lesson with an instructor called Sam (Pickup). Both were fantastic: professional, dedicated and very motivating. The adults had a great lesson that made a huge difference to our skiing for the rest of the week. But the real pleasure came from the reaction of our children to Andy. Having said they did not want to ski at all (having had a bad experience 2 years previously) they could not wait to get back to ski school every morning and totally amazed us by joining us up the mountain and confidently skiing down the blue slopes. He was calm and spoke to the kids at exactly the right level. He absolutely made our holiday for us as the children were SO enthusiastic about skiing and we could enjoy our own skiing without any concerns for them. Furthermore everyone from the reservation team, to Kevin the Commercial Manager was a credit to your company - communicating really well and providing all the reassurance you want when handing your kids over for the morning. We will definitely use New Gen again and would happily recommend them to anyone visiting a resort where you operate.Thank you again and all the best for the rest of the season. As a first time skier, I was obviously quite nervous & apprehensive, however Dan took into account our individual abilities & provided us with different ways of learning on a personal level. The fear was taken out of skiing and fun was added. By mid-week we were skiing down blue and relatively easy red slopes, with a smile. I came away from this holiday with confidence and a passion for skiing, and I would like to thank Dan & the New Generation Team for providing such an excellent service. Thomas was an excellent coach. He immediately got J. and L's confidence despite them being quite nervous. They were complete starters and got to a level I had not been expecting at the end of their first week. He was able to make the week really fun for them and they learnt so much. They now adore ski-ing which is just want we wanted! He is a super star. I also liked the fact that you had helpers for each class. I think they were Joe and Stuart. I had the opportunity to talk to Joe and he was a great asset to your company as well - very encouraging, positive and very forthcoming with praise for the children. I thought the size of the class was great (8). I also really liked the fact that you sent a reminder about our booking by e-mail before we left.

I enjoyed the ski clinic immensely. Lorenzo encouraged me to push myself and believe I could do what he was asking of me. I had a mogul/skills lesson with Tom Speakman last week. I just wanted to say that I learned a lot and was able to see some noticeable improvements in my skiing (both on piste and on moguls) in the 2-3 days after the lesson. I did the Tortin itinerary a few times and was able to get through it without any massive crashes. So again, just wanted to say thanks.(Mrs LM, Verbier 11 Feb 08)

My daughter (6) was totally engrossed in her lessons, looked forward to every day-amazing! Could he come and teach at school too? Just wanted to say that the classes we booked with you last week in Meribel were fantastic. My wife and I had never previously been on skis in our life and hence joined a Level 1 group where the instructor, Euan Wright was superb, very patient, encouraging, full of enthusiasm and clearly knew his stuff. He also taught us with a smile on his face which made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile and by the end of it we were doing blue runs which we never thought would happen so quickly. Our kids were in the Level 2 group run by Alberto Macri and also had a fantastic time; their confidence grew throughout the week and by the end of it our son was doing his first black runs and daughter her first red runs. My friend and I both signed up for snowboarding classes. Our tutor was Mike. We found him to be friendly, suitably casual (after all we were on holiday). But still instructive and we learnt HEAPS. Big thumbs up to Mike. (Ms KF, 20 Feb 08, Meribel)

Fabrizio Malisan was my instructor for the week and he was brilliant. He gave equal attention to everybody and was extremely patient and good humoured. Fabrizio clearly really enjoys his work and enjoys sharing his skill and beautiful skiing style with those he is teaching. I had great fun while learning. I liked skiing down a variety of routes and how Euan told us individually what we needed to inprove to get the technique right. Now both of us are confident skiers and now getting the hang of skiing parallel thanks to the teaching we were provided with. Thomas tooks us for a lesson on our first day. Having not skied since March we were rusty. Buy the end of the lesson were were back on form and learing new things. On our second lesson he gave us loads of great tips and exercises. He moved our skiing on again. When we did a red later in the week it was with control and confidence. Thanks. I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic time I had. Luigi pitched the level 3 skiing course at just the right level, particularly since quite a few of us were nervous skiers. I would like to thank him for his never ending patience and good sense of humour which made it extremely enjoyable. He is a real asset to New Generation. I would be grateful if you could pass my thanks back to him as I never got the chance to thank him properly. If I come back to this area I will definitely choose to use New Generation again. (R.K. We have just returned from a fantastic week in Courchevel 1850 having made a giant leap forward as a result of our lessons with New Generation. Having only being skiing for one week in 2006, where we tentatively explored a blue run on the final day, our New Generation instructor Elena had moved us on to a black run 'les Suisse' by the fourth day of our lessons! We felt comfortable in being able to ski the entire resort and enjoyed a number of reds and now cannot wait to go skiing again and would thoroughly recommend New Generation to others. (G. Q. The lessons were a huge success - our 3 beginners all thoroughly enjoyed the week and were delighted with the atmosphere of the classes and quality of the instruction. When they saw how good lessons could be, it made it even more obvious how bad ESF had been the previous year. ...I was also instructed by Ben when i was moved up a group. In a group of beginners, Luigi made everyone in the group feel very relaxed, and straight off the group worked really well together. He really did make me feel at home on the slopes from the beginning. Ben doing a level 2 course was very good at helping build our confidence, subtly suggesting how to improve our own techniques rather than instructing us as a group. And then also threw a few fun bits in like skiing backwards! Both instructors were always careful to make sure any decisions were ok with the whole group and that everyone was happy. Best ski coach I have ever had...

John was without doubt the best ski coach I've ever had. I felt I learned more about skiing that week than at any other time. He tailored the course specifically to the aims of the group and included masses of useful information. (Bruce Waters '05).

SNOWHEADS - Comment on Instructor Ruth Mosley

A group lesson (with Ruth) was nearly as good as private tuition. At the end of each session Ruth gave each of us a card with a few key tips written on it (she'd written them on the last lift up) for steeps, bumps, carving etc. I thought they'd all be the same but we compared them after Ruth had left & they were all different, being individually tailored to each pupil. Excellent & great VFM.
