New Generation’s ISIA Training Course

The New Generation ISIA training course offers students the best opportunity and support for moving forwards in their career as a ski instructor. The step from ‘Ski Instructor’ to ISIA is a big one but with the help of our BASI trainers and ISTD’s, students will be coached towards the key modules. This is a hard, intense, but extremely effective training course which prepares students for the ISIA Technical, Teaching, Off-Piste Mountain Safety and Alpine Performance Modules.

The difference between the Courchevel and Verbier Course

Before providing you with the Verbier Course details it is worth explaining why this new course is different to the one we have been running in Courchevel. It is important that you choose the course that is right for you.
For the last 3 years New Generation has run a very successful ISIA training course in Courchevel. The course runs all season and includes 180 hours of training.
In Verbier this year we are running a shortened version of the Courchevel course. The course will include 90 hours of coaching spread over the season.
We are running a shortened course in response to demand from students that want to train in Verbier but also want to work in the resort. We have set the course so that it does not run over peak periods and runs only in the afternoons.
Students joining the Verbier course will still benefit from the coaching experienece of one of our BASI?trainers. Due to the reduction in the hours the course will cover the same modules as the Courchevel course but a higher percent of time will be spent on the Technical Modules as this is by far the hardest module on the course.

The 3 key elements of the New Generation ISIA Training course

The New Generation ISIA Training Course is centred on helping our students develop a greater understanding of, and improving, performance in the following three areas…

1. Technical Skiing (including Alpine Performance)
2. Off-Piste Mountain Safety
