Skiing in Les Arcs

Les Arcs is a skier’s paradise, offering a variety of experiences for everyone. The resort features four main villages: Arc 2000, Arc 1950, Arc 1800, and Arc 1600, each with its own unique vibe. Arc 2000 is known for its high altitude and excellent snow, while Arc 1950 boasts a charming car-free setting perfect for strolling. Arc 1800 is lively and bustling, ideal for those who enjoy vibrant après-ski activities.

There are slopes for all skill levels. Beginners can enjoy gentle runs at Mille8, Les Villards, and Cabri, while intermediates will appreciate options like Belvedere and Grizzly for scenic views and challenges. Experts can tackle the thrilling Aiguille Rouge and Comborciere black runs, or explore off-piste spots like Malgovert and Aiguille Grive for untouched powder and adventure.

Dining in Les Arcs caters to every budget. Indulge at high-end restaurants like Blanche Murée for exquisite French cuisine, enjoy mid-range Alpine dishes at Chalet de l’Arcelle, or find affordable meals at Le Sanglier Qui Fume. The après-ski scene is lively, especially in Arc 1800 with the energetic Red Hot Saloon and panoramic L’Arpette. For a more relaxed vibe, visit Arc 1950 and Arc 2000, where spots like Le Chalet de Luigi and Whistler’s Dream await.

Why Choose New Generation
Ski Instructor Courses Testimonials

“My son had skiing lessons with Davide in Les Arc 2000. Davide was very nice, he always explained to us parents about the lessons. I think kids really liked the lessons and very happy to receive a medal and skiing passport at the end. He spoke very good English which was essential here.”

“I had four lessons with Tjasa in Les Arcs 1950 and she is a fantastic ski instructor. From the start, I felt relaxed and calm, despite any nerves I felt as Tjasa made me feel at ease throughout. She had a great balance of teaching me new skills to challenge and improve my ability.”

Lesley Hollis

“From start to finish the communication and service from John and T was the best I have ever experienced from a ski school. We wouldn’t use another school again. We will definitely be back to Les Arcs because of them.”
