Our Ski Lesson Costs are from

* quoted prices are for 1 – 2 pupils in non-peak weeks. Additional pupils can be added for a fee and prices in peak weeks are higher.

Kids:

  • Whippersnappers will need the Les Esserts Pass.
  • Wallabies will need the Les Esserts Pass, then the instructor will advise when to upgrade to the Verbier Pass.
  • Arrows to Bombers will need the Verbier Pass.
  • Rockets to Pro-riders will need the 4 Vallées Pass.

Adults:

  • Off-Piste Courses will need the 4 Vallées Pass.

Fly

Fly to Geneva Airport and get a Private Ski Transfer from a company like Snowlinx, which takes just under 3 hours. Or fly to Sion Airport which is closer, but there is less choice when booking flights.

Train

Get a train to Martigny and then change for Le Châble. You can then either stay in Le Châble, or get a taxi, bus or the gondola up into Verbier.

There is a free bus service that runs circular around the resort. Verbier has a free bus service that runs from Carrefour all the way down to Verbier village. It runs every 5-10 minutes from 8am – 6pm.

All lines run through the supermarket stop (Migros), Ermitage  car park in Place Centrale, Medran lift station and Savoleyres lift station. So if you need to get to any lift station, it doesn’t matter which one you get on.

It is important to get the right number to get to your destination.

  • Line 1 takes you to to Carrefour
  • Line 2 takes you to Hameau (Les Esserts)
  • Line 3 takes you to Patier and Verbier Village

*Tip – Only line 3 stops outside la poste on the way to Patier and Verbier Village

Yes! You can learn to ski away from the steep slopes in multiple beginner areas. If you’re a very nervous skier, there are plenty of easy green and blue slopes to practice to build your confidence. Read more about beginner skiing in Verbier.

It’s good to note that the nursery slopes don’t require a Verbier ski pass. You can buy a ‘beginner area only’ lift access, so check before purchasing a lift pass, as you could save yourself a few Swiss Franks.

Intermediate to advanced skiers will love Verbier due to its varied terrain and itinerary routes. The pistes are incredibly prepared are always in tip-top condition. So no matter your ski level, you’ll have a brilliant time in Verbier.

Although the resort sits at 1500m, and does get affected by the sun early into the spring, most of the slopes are much higher up the mountain, around 3,000m. Which means the snow sticks around all season long up the top, so there’s always plenty of snow to enjoy.

Verbier is a relatively expensive ski resort. Some people refer to it as the most expensive ski resort in Switzerland. But Switzerland as a country, is more expensive than other neighbouring countries like France or Italy.

Expect to pay around 7CHF for a beer and around 25CHF per person for a meal.
