We have a highly qualified International team led by Scottish trainer, Blair Aitken.  Blair has helped to build the Val d'Isere ski and snowboard school from a one man band to 8 full time instructors. Over the last few years he has hand picked his team to ensure that Val d’Isere continues the New Generation tradition of offering high quality coaching for all levels of skier and snowboarder.

The Val d’Isere team will be running a programme of groups, technical video clinics and private lessons throughout the season. During peak periods we will run mainly children’s lessons in the morning with private lessons and clinics in the afternoon.

We strongly recommend you book ski / snowboard lessons before coming to resort as we are a small ski school and run small groups. If you do have any questions in-resort you can find us in the Fat Face shop in the centre of town.

New start time for all ski & snowboard lessons

Following feedback from clients and instructors we have moved our lesson start time from 9:15am to 9:00am. The slightly earlier start time will hopefully enable us to beat the queues so that you get even more out of your lesson. All other times stay the same.

We have had another great season in Val d'Isere and would like to thank everyone who has used and supported the Ski & Snowboard School. It may be the end of the snow but we are already excited about next year! We are now taking booking for the 2010/11 season. New swimming pool and spa open! (19 Nov '09)

At last we cry! The swimming pool and spa complex is set to open in Val d'Isere this season. It is located under the main gondola. More informationa as we find it!

New Performance Course featured in Top Ski Mag

Read about our new Performance Coaching Courses in the October'09 issue of the Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard Magazine. The performance courses (more details) are running in all our French resorts with c.15 hours of coaching for 199 Euros. We hope you like them!

Mountain Safety Application for iphone

We have just all downloaded the MAMMUT safety application for our iphones. It includes a clinometer, compass and altimeter. We are not sure how reliable it will be but looking forward to trying it out!

Val d'Isere ski snd snowboard school welcomes new instructors to the team (Aug '09)

Blair Aitken (Val d’Isère Manager) has confirmed that his instructor team has increased in numbers for 2009/10. Welcome to Richard and Luke - both experienced British instructors who have already spent a lot of time skiing iun the Espace Killy. This means we can now offer even more spaces for children and adults during the season.
