Skiing in Courchevel 1650

Courchevel 1850 is an excellent spot for learning to ski or snowboard, featuring a fantastic beginner area with gentle slopes and magic carpets. Dedicated zones ensure a safe learning experience. Plus, a vast network of blue runs lets you explore the resort at your own pace, with plenty of high-speed lifts, including bubbles, drag lifts, and chairlifts. The Boillay ski run, located in the resort’s center, is a favorite among visitors—it’s a wide blue run accessible via the Biollay or Pralong chairlift.

For advanced skiers, Courchevel is a playground. The Grand Couloir is one of Europe’s most thrilling black runs, offering an exhilarating descent. Its steep, narrow corridor and often icy conditions require skill and precision. Don’t miss the Saulire run, where you’ll face challenging moguls and sweeping turns amid the stunning views of the French Alps.

Courchevel also has many family-friendly activities, including indoor soft play areas, horse-drawn carriage rides, and swimming. Aquamotion is a fantastic facility with indoor and outdoor pools, slides, and cliff jumps, along with floats and toys for kids—perfect for stormy days!

If skiing isn’t your thing, Courchevel has plenty to offer, such as snowshoeing, winter hiking, and Nordic skiing. You can also try dog sledging, sledging, fat biking, hot air balloon rides, and skidoo riding. For some relaxation, visit a spa, get a massage, join a yoga or fitness class, or ride the chairlifts for breathtaking views of Vanoise Glacier and Vanoise National Park. A pedestrian pass lets you join your group for lunch at a mountain restaurant or walk up via pedestrian paths for free.
