Skiing in La Plagne

La Plagne’s ski area is part of the Paradiski domain and boasts 425 kilometres of pistes. Whether you’re a beginner making your first turns or an experienced skier, you’ll have an incredible time. From tree skiing to the glacier pistes, no day will ever be the same.

La Plagne is famous for its tree skiing. The number of blue and red pistes below the treeline makes it quite unique in this part of the world. While other resorts have a couple of areas to escape to in a storm, La Plagne has endless options that transport you to an old alpine movie.

Beginners will find plenty of gentle, welcoming slopes to gain confidence, particularly around the Plagne Centre and Montalbert areas. For intermediates, the expansive blue and red runs offer a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment, with the Belle Plagne sector providing some stunning panoramic views. Advanced skiers will not be disappointed. The challenging black runs and off-piste opportunities are often quiet and in great condition. There’s a reason it’s the most visited ski resort in France.
