St Anton am Arlberg is one of Austria’s top ski spots, famous for its huge alpine terrain and lively après-ski scene. Nestled in the beautiful Tyrolean Alps, it’s part of the massive Ski Arlberg region, which boasts over 300 kilometres of marked slopes.

With a history dating back to the early 1900s, St Anton has played a key role in shaping modern skiing techniques. Today, it’s a favorite among skiers, offering a mix of traditional Tyrolean charm and modern facilities. The village itself combines rustic architecture with a vibrant atmosphere, making it a great place for cultural experiences and snow sports.

Beginners can enjoy well-groomed nursery slopes right in the village, while intermediate and advanced skiers can tackle a variety of challenging pistes and off-piste routes. It’s especially popular with expert skiers who love the thrill of off-piste and freeride skiing, with challenging terrain like the Valluga Summit providing a unique experience.

Getting to St Anton is a breeze, as the resort is easily reachable by train from major European cities like Zurich and Innsbruck. This convenient transport link makes it a popular choice for international visitors looking for an easy alpine getaway.

When it comes to accommodation, St Anton has something for everyone, from luxury hotels and chalets to budget-friendly pensions and apartments, many with ski-in convenience. Nearby villages like St Christoph and Stuben offer quieter options with direct access to the main slopes.

St Anton’s après-ski scene is legendary, with a nightlife that kicks off as soon as the slopes close. The resort’s bars and mountain huts are known for live music and a festive vibe, attracting those who want to unwind after a day on the slopes.
