Get to know Rob

Hi, I’m Rob, and my journey on the slopes started at the tender age of four, taught by an instructor at a dry ski slope. Growing up, skiing was a holiday delight, often spent in the beautiful landscapes of France. I was just a holiday skier who took part in the New Gen Gap course, and now, I’ve come full circle as the lead mentor for the course.

In my free time, I love chasing bumps whenever I can find them. My best skiing memories are too numerous to count, but the most profound moments happen during the tranquility of sunrise at a refuge or the breathtaking beauty of a sunset on the hill.

I became a ski instructor because of my deep love for skiing and teaching, all while relishing the pleasure of being in the mountains. My favorite part of being an instructor is the continuous journey of learning and improving my understanding of both skiing and teaching, aiming to be the best instructor possible for my clients.

Here’s a surprising fact about me: I’m devilishly handsome… even if I might not always look it! During the summer, my endeavors vary, but this year I worked as a green keeper. My hobbies include climbing, playing golf, and I generally find great joy in honing my skills in various pursuits.

Currently, I have the privilege of running the Ski with Confidence Course alongside Louise Pode, helping skiers build their skills and confidence on the slopes.
