Get to know Sofie

Hello! I’m Sofie, and I love sharing the thrill and beauty of skiing with my students. My skiing journey began at the tender age of two, thanks to the guidance of my parents and some incredible instructors. Although I didn’t grow up in the mountains, skiing during family holidays quickly ignited a lifelong love for the sport.

I predominantly enjoy on-piste skiing, but I’m always ready to venture off-piste when the conditions are just right. Cross-country skiing in Norway is another favorite of mine, adding to my diverse skiing background. One of my most cherished memories is a perfect morning in Alpe d’Huez, where my friends from university and I repeatedly descended a flawless slope after a fresh snowfall.

My desire to deepen my understanding of skiing theory and inspire others with my enthusiasm for the Alps led me to become a ski instructor. Over the past year and a half, I have dedicated myself to helping students unlock their potential, and nothing brings me more joy than witnessing their breakthroughs and accomplishments on the snow.

Away from the slopes, I am also a practicing medical doctor, which adds an intriguing dimension to my life. In the summer, I love road biking, running, swimming, crossfit, and sailing with friends in Denmark, maintaining a balance between an active lifestyle and moments of tranquility.
