What to expect from Advanced Ski Lessons

Our advanced ski lessons are ideal for those looking to enhance their skills and explore more without committing an entire week to instruction. With lessons on just two days a week, you’ll have ample opportunity to enjoy the slopes with friends and family. Perfect if you’re part of a mixed-ability group. Challenge yourself and push your limits before reuniting with the rest of the group.

Day one is all about identifying areas where we can improve. This means breaking down the skills we need to master into smaller, more manageable pieces and then putting them together to boost overall performance.

On day two you’ll focus on testing those new skills in more challenging conditions or more difficult terrain.

The lessons are scheduled with a day off in between the sessions. You can either use this to relax or spend some more time working on your skills.

What To Expect Corporate

Tips for Advanced Ski Lessons

  • Be open minded and try new techniques when suggested by the instructor. The new sensations will feel odd, but that means change it happening.
  • Let the intructor know if you have a specific goal in mind, as they can tailor the lesson to your needs.
  • Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

What to Bring

Piste Performance Ski Lessons

For our Piste Performance Ski Lessons, you’ll need to have finely tuned piste skis. When in the rental shop, or buying skis choose a specific piste performance ski that has a narrow waist and a shorter turn radius. Ensure your skis have sharp edges to enable you to perform better on the snow. We advise you to wear a helmet too, as you’ll be skiing at speed and trying new techniques.

Off-Piste Ski Lessons

Choose freeride or all-mountain skis, ideally with a width of 90-105mm underfoot, as they perform better in varied snow conditions. If you’re bringing your own ski boots, make sure they are compatible with the bindings you plan to use. Additionally, don’t forget essential items such a helmet, and safety gear like an avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe—these can be provided if needed.
