Hi, I’m Silvia, and skiing has been my lifelong passion. I started skiing at the tender age of six, taught by the wonderful Daniela Giolitto in the picturesque setting of Sauze d’Oulx, nestled in the Italian Alps where I grew up. My journey on the slopes quickly evolved into a competitive career from the age of 11 to 18, where I raced in regional events. This early immersion ignited a love for skiing that led me to become a ski instructor, sharing my joy and expertise with others.
Over the years, I’ve expanded my skills to include snowboarding and telemarking, which I now enjoy teaching as well. My love for the sport has taken me on unforgettable adventures, like heliboarding in Alaska and telemarking in Norway, starting from a sailing boat. These moments fuel my excitement and passion for skiing, which remains as strong as the day I first clicked into my skis.
When I’m not on the slopes, I cherish my time in Sardinia during the summer, where I look after my house and continue to embrace the mountains by hiking. I’m also an avid road cyclist and kitesurfer, always eager to find new spots and challenges.
I’ve been a ski instructor for 39 years, teaching in renowned resorts like Meribel, Courchevel, and La Tania. I hold qualifications in both skiing and snowboarding. My favourite part of teaching is the opportunity to transmit my passion and the sheer fun of skiing to my students, ensuring that everyone finds joy and improvement on the slopes.
Sport is an integral part of my life, and I strive to give each of my students personalized and skilled tuition. Nothing makes me happier than seeing others enjoy and share the love for the sport that has defined so much of my life. Whether on the piste or off, I’m here to make your skiing experience both enriching and exhilarating.
