Get to know Alberto
Hello! I’m Alberto and skiing has been a part of my life since I was just four years old. Growing up near the majestic Dolomites in Italy, I had the perfect playground to nurture my passion for skiing. My dad initially tried to teach me, but it wasn’t until a ski instructor stepped in that my skills truly began to flourish. By the age of eight, I was competing in Giant Slalom and Super G, eventually finding my true love in slalom.
As a ski instructor with 14 years of experience, I find immense joy in teaching. The mountains have always been where I feel most at home, and combining that with my love for teaching keeps me feeling youthful and energized. Whether I’m guiding students through piste skiing, off-piste adventures, race training, ski touring, or even telemark, I strive to make each lesson an exciting and rewarding experience.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and work as a freelance engineer during the summer. When I’m not engineering or skiing, you can find me climbing, mountain biking, or chasing winter in the other hemisphere. Despite being Italian, I’m not your typical football fan, I don’t drink much coffee, and I tend to be on the quieter side—surprising, I know!
Teaching at resorts like St Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens, I offer instruction in both English and Italian. My approach is to help my clients to reach their skiing potential in a safe, supportive environment.
