Get to know Domen

Hi, I’m Domen. I’ve been teaching skiing for the last 25 years. My journey on the slopes began at the age of three in the Slovenian Alps, inspired by my father’s love for the sport. As a young athlete, I competed with Slovenia’s junior national team in Slalom, Giant Slalom, and Super G until the age of 17.

I’m always trying to create a fun, supportive, and rewarding experience for everyone, whether I’m introducing beginners to their first turns or helping experienced skiers perfect their technique on groomed runs or off-piste powder.

When I’m not carving up the slopes, I spend summers with my family at our home by Lake Bohinj in the Slovenian Alps. Outside of skiing, I’m an avid tennis player, mountain biker, and traveller.
