Get to know Thea

Hi, I’m Thea. My journey on skis began at the tender age of four when I was guided by my parents, siblings, and some fantastic ski instructors. Although I didn’t grow up in the mountains, yearly holidays were filled with snowy adventures that fueled my passion for skiing. My love for the sport took me to Maine, USA, during my gap year in 10th grade, where I joined an alpine ski team. After completing my gymnasium studies, I moved to France, immersing myself in ski instructor courses while working in hotels for three years.

In my free time, you’ll find me skiing on the slopes, exploring off-piste terrains, or enjoying cross-country trails. There’s nothing quite like sharing these experiences with family and friends, which remains one of my fondest memories.

I became a ski instructor to spread the joy skiing brings me, striving to help others relish every moment on the snow. There’s an unparalleled thrill in watching someone’s face light up as they master a skill they’ve been working hard on. Surprisingly, I also used to be able to ride a unicycle!

Outside of winter, I work in Denmark, where I completed my master’s degree in mathematical economics. I’m an avid fan of outdoor sports, enjoying running, road cycling, and strength training. When I’m not active, you might find me baking delicious treats, diving into a good book, or cherishing moments with family and friends.
