Get to know Alessandro

Hi, I’m Alessandro, but most people call me Ale. I’ve been a ski instructor for over 14 years, guiding skiers across the beautiful slopes of Méribel, Courchevel, and La Tania. Growing up in the stunning Italian Alps of Folgaria, I clicked into my first pair of skis at just three years old, inspired by my own ski instructor. That early connection to the mountains ignited a lifelong love for skiing and took me down the path of competitive racing, including international FIS races across all disciplines.

After a motorbike accident brought my racing career to an early end, I decided to refocus my energy on teaching. I earned my Italian Maestro di Sci and Race Coach qualifications and have never looked back. For me, the best part of being an instructor is seeing my students progress and sharing the pure joy of skiing with them.

When I’m not on the slopes, my adventurous side keeps me busy. In the summer, I work on the F1 Powerboat World Championship circuit and travel the world in my self-converted van. I’m also a big fan of mountain biking and off-road motorbiking.
