Get to know Ale
Hi there! I’m Alessandro, but you can call me Ale. My journey on the slopes began when I was just seven years old, thanks to my dad and my first ski instructor, Moreno. Growing up, skiing was a holiday tradition at Passo dello Stelvio, and since 2019, I’ve been hitting the slopes at Foppolo and Stelvio during the summer.
It wasn’t until 2018 that I swapped my tourist status for something more serious, diving into the world of ski instruction. That winter, I worked at a cosy hotel nestled on the Dolomites pistes, which fueled my passion even more. Now, I’m living my dream as an Alpine Ski Instructor. The joy of teaching in my favourite winter wonderlands like Val Thorens, Meribel, Courchevel, and La Tania is unmatched. It’s amazing to share my love for skiing in English and Italian, whether it’s on the piste or through coaching.
I hold a degree in Sports Science and have proudly earned my Italian Qualification as a Maestro di Sci Alpino and a First-Level Ski Coach. What’s surprising to many is that I carved my path to becoming an instructor without a competitive background—just sheer passion and dedication.
When I’m not on the snow, you might find me mixing drinks or crafting pizzas during summer. I also love exploring music, art, cooking, football, and trekking. These hobbies keep me energized and inspired for the winter season.
