Get to know Aly

Hello! I’m Valle Alissa, but you can call me Aly. Skiing has been in my blood since I was four years old, thanks to my parents who introduced me to the slopes in the beautiful Trentino region of Italy. Although I began competing in GS, SL, and SG events early on, my racing journey was cut short by injuries at 16. Yet, my passion for skiing remained unshaken, leading me to become a ski instructor—a dream that allows me to share my love for the sport and see the joy in my students‘ eyes when they succeed.

When I’m not teaching, I love to enjoy the slopes at my own pace. Away from the snow, you’ll find me staying active with swimming, hiking, and CrossFit. In the summer, I swap my skis for a bar apron, working by the stunning Lake Garda. Despite my years on the slopes, I’ve developed a surprising fear of speed since I stopped racing, which always makes me laugh!
