Get to Know Me
Hello! I’m Anna Scheller Petersen, and skiing has been a cherished tradition in my life since I was three years old. My parents and instructors introduced me to the slopes, and what started as a holiday pastime has blossomed into a lifelong passion. Although I grew up enjoying skiing once a year with my family, it was in my teenage years that I truly embraced the thrill and challenge of the sport, which paved the way for my current skills and enthusiasm.
My journey as a ski instructor began as a personal quest to enhance my own skiing abilities and experience a season in the Alps. This initial step opened my eyes to the joy of teaching, and now I am driven by the desire to share the exhilarating experience of skiing with others. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my guests gain confidence and master new techniques on the slopes.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me carving gracefully on alpine runs or venturing off-piste when conditions allow. A memorable moment in my skiing journey was mastering the art of carving through an entire turn, a skill that felt monumental at the time.
During the summer, I immerse myself in varied roles such as a kindergarten teacher, waitress, and mentor, while cherishing time with friends and family in Denmark or exploring new destinations. Apart from skiing, my heart is captivated by dancing, a passion that complements my active lifestyle.
