Get to know Asia

Hi, I’m Asia. Growing up in the Italian Alps near Lake Como, I started skiing when I was just 5 years old. I honed my skills as part of the Sci Club Pescegallo Valgerola, competing in local races until I was 12. Over time, I realized I got far more enjoyment from spending time with friends and just enjoying the sport, so I shifted my focus to carving and freeride skiing in my free time.

Becoming a ski instructor was a natural decision for me. I love helping others conquer their fears and discover the joy of skiing, whether it’s guiding beginners through their first turns or helping experienced skiers fine-tune their technique. My favourite part of this job is watching people build confidence and seeing their excitement as they achieve their goals. I teach in both English and Italian in the stunning resorts of Avoriaz, Morzine, and Les Gets.

When I’m not skiing, my adventurous side takes over. During an exchange year in New Zealand, I fell in love with travel and connecting with people from different cultures. When the snow melts, I trade my skis for an apron and work in my family’s restaurant in a busy tourist spot near Lake Como.
