Get to know Carola

Hello! I’m Carola, and skiing has been in my blood since I could walk. Growing up in the stunning Dolomites, my dad taught me to ski at four. By 20, I had already made my mark as a slalom (SL) and giant slalom (GS) racer. My racing days eventually transitioned into a fulfilling career where I now share my passion for skiing with others as both a teacher and coach for the Paganella Ski Team.

Skiing isn’t just my profession; it’s a way of life. There’s nothing more exhilarating than improvising my ski style to match the day’s weather and snow conditions. I thrive on the thrill of carving out GS turns and cherish the friendships this sport has helped me forge.

As an instructor, there’s no job more rewarding than spending every day outdoors, under a vast sky, doing what I love most. My favourite part? Watching students conquer their fears and grow on the slopes. Surprisingly, while I’ve skied all my life, I only recently discovered the joy of powder skiing!

During the summer months, I pivot my focus to being a personal trainer and massage therapist, staying active with biking, walking, and climbing. My academic background includes a degree in Sport Science and Massotherapy, adding depth to my understanding of physical performance and recovery.
