Get to Know Filippa

Hello! I’m Filippa. I was practically born with skis on my feet, starting at the tender age of two, taught by none other than my mum and dad, both seasoned ski instructors. Although I spent the first two years of my life in Norway, I have been hitting the slopes three to four times a year ever since, following my passion for skiing wherever it leads.

I’ve always known I wanted to be a ski instructor, just like my parents, who inspired me with their love for teaching. Now, with six years of instructing under my belt, I get to pass on that same joy and thrill of skiing to others. My favourite part? Witnessing the transformation and newfound confidence in my students as they conquer the slopes.

In my free time, you’ll find me indulging in touring and freeride skiing, exploring the majestic terrains of St Anton and Lech. One of my proudest moments was passing my full Landes exam and becoming a Landes teacher, cementing my dedication to this adventurous lifestyle.

When the snow melts, I switch gears and explore Europe, seizing the summer with mountain biking and hiking adventures in St Anton. I also enjoy running, CrossFit, and occasionally setting sail with my family.
