Get to know Giulia

Hi, I’m Giulia, and I’m here to make your time on the slopes unforgettable. Born and raised in Friuli, Italy, just an hour from the Austrian border, I swapped my skis for a snowboard at the age of 12.

I’ve now got 10 years of teaching experience and hold the prestigious Maestro di Snowboard Italiano ISA qualification. I specialise in both piste and off-piste snowboarding in the Portes du Soleil resorts of Avoriaz, Morzine, and Les Gets.

My love for snowboarding goes far beyond teaching. From shredding freestyle parks during the summer on the Les 2 Alpes glacier to exploring the serene beauty of backcountry snow with freeride and splitboarding adventures. One of my best boarding memories is back in the winter of 2008, when the mountains were blessed with endless night snowfalls and sunny days, resulting in over 20 metres of snow by the end of the season.

When I’m not on the slopes, you can find me teaching yoga, surfing in the summer, or enjoying other hobbies like climbing and practising yoga.
