Group Lessons: What lift pass is required?
Most of our group lessons in Meribel require the Meribel Valley Lift Pass.
If guests plan to explore other parts of the Three Valleys outside of lessons, to resorts such as Courchevel and Val Thorens, it may be worth purchasing the Three Valleys lift pass. However, this is at the discretion of our guests. We advise that you’re able to ski Blue runs confidently to get the most from this pass.

Meribel lift passes for Pedestrian
For those who don’t want to ski or snowboard, it is still possible to access the best of what Meribel has to offer, such as snowshoeing, excellent alpine restaurants and breathtaking views. These can all be accessed with the Pedestrian pass.

Snow Insurance / Carre Neige
Snow insurance, known as Carre Neige, can be purchased for €3.70 per day or €50 for the entire season. The insurance is directly linked to your lift pass and covers mountain recovery and emergency medical cover in case of an accident. Mountain recovery without insurance is known to be very costly.
Snow Insurance will cover
- Search, Rescue and Evacuation,
- First medical transport costs
- Repatriation assistance
- Reimbursement of emergency medical expenses,
- Reimbursement of ski lift passes.
