Unfortunately there are no direct trains to Morzine from the UK. There are, however, options for those travelling from London to nearby Geneva via Paris.
Departing London St Pancras International on the Eurostar train to Paris Gare du Nord takes 2 hours and 20 minutes and costs from £51. The second leg leaves Paris Gare du Lyon on the TGV Lyria train to Geveva Cornavin . Tickets cost from £25 with this leg of the journey taking 3 hours and 11 minutes.
In total the train transit time from London to Geneva will be approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes costing in the region of £76. This doesn’t however factor in the 3.5 mile connection in Paris from Gare de Nord to Gare de Lyon.
The Paris Metro will depart Gare de Lyon every 5 minutes to Châtelet les Halles station on train line B towards SCAL. Upon reaching Châtelet les Halles, change trains to line A for trains towards NEGE. This will take you to Paris Gare de Lyon. This connection takes approximately 10 minutes and costs in the region of £4. Alternatively there will be an availability of taxis from Gare Nord to Gare Lyon. This trip should cost in the region of £12 to £15 and take 10 minutes which is heavily dependent on Paris traffic.
Once at Geneva Cornavin, private transfers will be able to take you onwards to Geneva. For shared transfers an additional train will need to be taken from Geneva Cornavin to Geneva Airport taking 7 minutes and costing from £9.
It is worth bearing in mind that this journey is not sold as a connection. Therefore, it will be up to the traveller to ensure that they have sufficient time to transit across Paris in order to make the connecting train.
