Get to know Alessio
Hello, I’m Alessio Giordano. My journey on the slopes began at the tender age of three, when I first strapped on skis and discovered the exhilarating world of alpine skiing. Growing up next to the stunning mountains of Bardonecchia, skiing quickly became a cherished part of my life. I spent my childhood and teenage years competing in local alpine skiing competitions, which fueled my passion for the sport and set me on the path to becoming an instructor.
With three years of experience as a ski instructor, I teach at the beautiful resorts of Tignes and Val d’Isere, where I specialize in piste skiing. I also hold the Italian qualification to teach alpine skiing to people with disabilities, allowing me to make skiing accessible to everyone. For me, the greatest joy of being an instructor is playing a significant role in the learning and discovery process of many children. There’s nothing quite like seeing a student’s face light up when they conquer a new skill on the slopes.
When I’m not skiing, you’ll find me indulging in my other passion: mountain biking. I spend my summers as a mountain bike instructor, and I love the thrill of motorbike riding as well. In addition to these outdoor pursuits, I’m about to graduate with a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, combining my love for science and innovation.
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you through the exciting world of skiing. Let’s hit the slopes and create some unforgettable memories together!
