My wife had a private lesson with T and my son in group lessons also with T, she was a brilliant instructor and both progressed so much under her coaching. A joy to spend time with

"I had four lessons with Tjasa in Les Arcs 1950 and she is a fantastic ski instructor. From the start, I felt relaxed and calm, despite any nerves I felt as Tjasa made me feel at ease throughout. She had a great balance of teaching me new skills to challenge and improve my ability, whilst also ensuring I was ready for this and that it matched my level. She was a joy to spend time with. This is my third experience of taking lessons with New Gen and it was again, incredibly helpful for developing my confidence with skiing. "

Get to know Tjaša

Hello! I’m Tjaša, or simply « T » to my friends and students. My journey on the snow began at the young age of three, guided by my dad’s expert hands. Growing up just 25 minutes away from the breathtaking ski resort Kranjska Gora in Slovenia, skiing quickly became an integral part of my life.

From the age of five, I embarked on a thrilling racing career, competing in all disciplines up to the FIS level, with downhill and slalom being my favourites. One of my cherished memories is my first international win in Brixen, a moment that solidified my passion for the sport.

Becoming a ski instructor is a dream come true—it truly is the best job in the world. I find immense joy in teaching others to ski and witnessing the happiness that comes with mastering the slopes. The camaraderie with fellow instructors and the shared love for skiing make every day on the mountain special.

In my free time, I relish skiing on groomed terrains, especially when the first light of dawn touches the snow. Off the slopes, I love hanging out with friends, cruising on my longboard, and traveling. My summers are spent working at an outdoor fun park, where I continue to engage with my love for the outdoors. Despite my active lifestyle, I love to binge-watch TV shows during my downtime.
