Get to know Emil
Hello! I’m Emil Sindt Lauridsen, but you can call me Milo. My skiing journey began when I was just eight years old, guided by a Swedish instructor. I spent my childhood skiing during holidays in Norway, Sweden, and the majestic Alps. By my early 20s, I embarked on my instructor course and discovered a true passion for teaching skiing.
Skiing isn’t just a pastime for me—it’s a way to share the joy and exhilaration of the mountains with others. I love witnessing the excitement on my students’ faces as they experience skiing just as I do. In addition to skiing, I am a qualified kindergarten teacher, which allows me to connect with learners of all ages on the slopes.
In my free time, you can find me freeriding and touring in the backcountry, where the thrill and serenity of untouched snow call me. One of my favourite memories is an unforgettable day of ski touring with friends, bathed in perfect snow and adventure. During the summer, I embrace my passion for skiing by travelling to Australia for more winter fun.
When the snow melts, my love for adventure takes me to the mountains on two wheels—whether it’s mountain biking or road cycling, I’m always in motion. Fun fact: I once drove an ice cream truck, so I guess you could say I’m a fan of all things cold!
