Get to know Alex
I’m Alex, and skiing has been a part of my life since I first hit the slopes at just 1.5 years old. Growing up in Livigno, Italy, a beautiful ski area, my dad and the local ski club were my first mentors in this exhilarating sport. By the time I was 18, I had competed in alpine skiing and enjoyed the thrill of winning several races, which remain some of my best memories.
These days, my focus has shifted to freeride skiing, where I find a sense of adventure and freedom. Becoming a ski instructor was a natural step for me to turn my lifelong passion into a career. I love seeing the happiness on my clients’ faces when they leave a lesson with new skills and unforgettable experiences.
I hold an Italian ski instructor qualification and have been teaching for five years at some of the best resorts, including Avoriaz, Morzine, and Les Gets. I offer lessons in both piste and off-piste skiing, and I’m able to teach in English, Italian, and Spanish, making skiing accessible to everyone.
In addition to skiing, I’m also studying Chemistry at university because I believe in lifelong learning. When winter ends, I keep active by playing football and beach volleyball, embracing the sun and sand as much as the snow and slopes.
For me, skiing is more than a sport; it’s a way of life, and I’m excited to share my enthusiasm and expertise with others.
