Get to Know Ettore
Hello! I’m Ettore, and skiing has been my passion since I was four years old. My journey began on a bridge with plastic skis in Brandizzo, thanks to my dad. I received invaluable guidance from my first instructor, Magda, at Ala di Stura. Living just an hour from the mountains, I devoted countless days to honing my skills with my ski coaches, which ultimately allowed me to compete at the FIS level starting at age eight.
Although racing wasn’t my first love, my true calling emerged during my ski instructor training, where I embraced freestyle, touring, and freeride skiing. These experiences reinvigorated my passion for the sport and deepened my connection to the mountains.
When I’m not teaching, you can often find me embracing freeride and touring adventures or carving through the morning corduroy on my GS skis. One of my most cherished memories is landing my first backflip at Ala di Stura, cheered on by my friends. In the summer, I work with a company that organizes World Cup powerboat and jet ski races, and I also spend my summers as a pizza chef in Biarritz. Rock climbing deepens my connection to the mountains, surfing offers tranquility in the ocean, and cooking ties me to my family’s roots.
