Get to know Iole

Hello! I’m Iole, and skiing has been a passion of mine since the age of three. My journey began in our backyard, where my dad taught me the basics of skiing. And weekends and holidays became filled with skiing adventures, I joined a team at 13 to pursue my dream of becoming an instructor, competing in FIS GS and SL along the way.

Even though skiing started as a challenge to my self-esteem, it has now become a platform where I can help others build their confidence and skills. There’s immense satisfaction in seeing my students achieve their goals and share the joy of skiing.

In my free time, I love venturing off-piste and dabbling in a bit of freestyle, constantly pushing my boundaries. One of my proudest moments was conquering a couloir for the first time, an experience that remains etched in my memory.

Off the slopes, I’m a wakeboard instructor and immerse myself in water sports like surfing. When it’s time to unwind, I enjoy crafts like crocheting and DIY projects. While I planned a New Zealand adventure last summer, financial constraints held me back—but I’m hopeful for next time!
