Get to know Nicolo

Hello! I’m Nicolò, but please call me Nick. Skiing has been a part of my life since I was merely two years old, thanks to my dad’s early encouragement and the inspiring environment of Valtellina in the heart of the Alps. By the age of six, I was already competing, eventually qualifying for European races. At 12, I discovered my passion for freestyle and freeride, and since then, skiing has been not just a sport but a way of life.

Becoming a ski instructor was a natural progression for me. I wanted to share the exhilarating feelings I experienced on the slopes and help others connect with the majestic beauty of the mountains. My greatest joy comes from witnessing the satisfaction on a student’s face when they master a new skill.

In my free time, you’ll find me skiing fresh powder or perfecting tricks in the freestyle park. One of my fondest memories is the rush of executing my first backflip at 13—a moment that solidified my love for freestyle skiing.

When the snow melts, I shift my focus to other adventures as a rafting and bike instructor. My passion for the outdoors extends to various adrenaline sports including longboarding, downhill biking, and cliff diving. I also have a deep love for music and play a variety of instruments, from the guitar to the didgeridoo.
