Fantastic fun and educational lessons

"Fantastic fun and educational lessons. Sam was fantastic breaking down each new learning curve, aswel as pushing me out of my comfort zone. This is my second time using new gen and Sam. Will be contacting again in 2025 for more lessons. Thank you Sam."

Sam’s guidance was invaluable and incredibly helpful

"Sam was recommended to us by a friend and we were very impressed with the lesson we had with him. We have been skiing for a number of years but always value a lesson. Sam’s guidance was invaluable and turned out to be incredibly helpful for the conditions we experienced on the last day of our trip! The lesson was easy to book and I would definitely recommend New Generation."

Get to know Sam

Hi, I’m Sam and I’ve been passionate about skiing since I first hit the slopes at the age of three. My journey began with ski schools in the USA and France, and although I didn’t grow up in the mountains, ski holidays became a staple part of my life. I moved to America at a young age, where I embraced the snowy terrains of Vermont. Upon returning to the UK, I eagerly joined school and family trips, eventually competing in the British Championships with a local racing club until I turned 18.

These days, you can find me training on the piste, often at Loze or Biolay, and I seize the opportunity for off-piste adventures whenever the powder is perfect. One of my most unforgettable moments was passing my Level 4 Tech exam, a milestone that solidified my love for skiing.

Becoming a ski instructor was a natural choice for me because it allows me to live in the mountains and ski daily. My favourite part of this role is watching people improve their skills while sharing my enthusiasm for skiing. Oh, and a fun fact about me—I can crochet!

When the snow melts, I switch gears to summer activities, taking people on cycling tours through various regions of France. I also enjoy mountain biking, golf, hiking, and cooking.
