4 Traditional Alpine Villages
Peisey is a charming and tranquil village at 1350m. Alongside the town hall, you’ll find a delightful array of shops—from cheese shops to the cosy bakery and everything in between. It’s a wonderful place for all your needs. Peisey is a family-friendly village due to its location to the main resort, using the Lozange lift. Affectionately called ‘The Lobster Pots’ by locals, you can take the free bus.
Nancroix, a charming alpine village nestled at 1400m, has a rich history rooted in the love for cross-country skiing. In the 1960s, the forest warden’s passion sparked the transformation of Nancroix into the gateway of the breathtaking Nordic area of Haute Tarentaise. Embracing this legacy, Nancroix continues to captivate holidaymakers with its natural beauty and world-class skiing opportunities.
