Once in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, you can transfer to Val d’Isère by taking a bus or taxi. Travelling by train significantly reduces your carbon footprint compared to flying and can be a more relaxing and scenic way to journey through the French Alps.
By Car
For those who prefer the flexibility of driving, getting to Val d’Isère by car is another option. You can take the Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais from the UK and then drive through France, following the well-maintained motorways and national roads.
