Get to know Davide

Hi, I’m Davide, but most people call me Dade. My skiing journey started when I was just 5 years old and even though I didn’t grow up in the mountains, I spent every winter weekend on the slopes. By the age of 7, I joined an Italian racing team. For 14 years, I competed in slalom and giant slalom at both national and international levels. Those experiences helped shape me into the skier I am today.

Becoming a ski instructor felt like the natural next step. My love for skiing and the mountains, combined with my endless energy, made it the perfect career. For the past five years, I’ve been teaching skiers in Méribel, Courchevel, and La Tania, sharing my enthusiasm and expertise on the slopes.

Whether you’re looking to master your piste skiing, explore off-piste terrain, refine your race techniques, or try ski touring, I’m here to help every step of the way. I teach skiers of all levels in both English and Italian, focusing on building skills, boosting confidence, and having a great time.

For me, the best part of being a ski instructor is working with people during their holidays, making sure everyone feels excited, relaxed, and ready to enjoy their time on the mountain.

When I’m not teaching or carving turns, I love spending time outdoors. Hiking, mountain biking, volleyball, and basketball keep me active when the snow melts. I’m also a qualified physiotherapist, which gives me a unique perspective on skiing by understanding the physical challenges and movements involved in the sport.
