Get to Know Jakob
Hello! I’m Jakob. My skiing journey started at the age of six, thanks to an inspiring Swedish instructor who instilled in me a lifelong passion for the sport. Growing up in a flat country, I spent my ski holidays in Norway, where my family’s friends had a cosy cabin. Over the years, those holidays turned into a commitment, leading me to train as a ski instructor at a school in Denmark.
I’ve had the privilege of teaching in some of the most beautiful ski resorts, including a full season in Hovden, Norway, and Zermatt, Switzerland. Now, I’m thrilled to be sharing my love for skiing in St. Anton. Whether it’s refining my technique or enjoying off-piste adventures, skiing is my passion, and I love passing that joy onto others.
My greatest skiing memories are intertwined with my teaching experiences, especially those incredible powder days in Zermatt. Becoming an instructor was a dream come true, inspired by the ski instructors I admired as a child. It’s rewarding to help others discover the thrill of skiing and see them grow in confidence on the slopes.
When I’m not on the snow, I enjoy the Danish summer, dabbling in sports like road cycling, CrossFit, and Hyrox. A fun fact? I can walk on my hands, which is always a surprise to my friends!
