Get to know Martin

Hello there! I’m Martin Vestergaard Larsen, and my passion for skiing started at the age of 8, taught by none other than my parents during our holiday trips. Though I didn’t grow up in the mountains, skiing has become an integral part of my life. I’ve spent years honing my skills as a ski instructor, and there’s nothing more exhilarating than hitting the off-piste for some thrilling adventures.

My journey as an instructor began because of my love for sharing skills and the pure joy that comes from watching others learn and conquer the slopes. The smiles and triumphs of my students are what make this job incredibly rewarding.

When I’m not guiding others down the pistes of St Anton, I’m usually training on all terrains or indulging in some of my favourite off-slope hobbies like mountain biking, kayaking, or playing handball. During the summer months, I switch gears and put my carpentry skills to use, always keeping active and engaged.

An interesting tidbit about me? I bought my first motorcycle at just 13! This adventurous spirit is something I carry with me in all aspects of my life, whether on the snow or off.
