Get to know Matti

Hi, I’m Matti, and I teach skiing in beautiful Verbier with New Generation Ski and Snowboard School. My love for skiing began at the age of 6 when I learned the ropes during family holidays with the help of my instructors. Fast-forward to today and I’m living in Verbier and working as an instructor myself.

For me, skiing is more than a sport—it’s about creating unforgettable moments on the slopes. Whether I’m gliding through powder with friends or tackling a challenging mogul field, I’m happiest with skis on my feet. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy running and the occasional game of padel tennis.
