Get to know Max

Hi, I’m Max. I’ve been skiing since I was just 3 years old. During my childhood, I was fortunate enough to ski all across Europe and even in America, my love of skiing grew from there.

My skiing history also includes competing in slalom and giant slalom as a junior, but I later discovered my love for ski touring, which enabled me to find incredible terrain and untouched powder.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me carving the perfect arcs on the pistes or seeking out powder for a touring adventure. One of my best skiing memories has to be an unforgettable 7-day touring trip in Chamonix. A close second is enjoying a well-earned beer in Le Rouge after a long day skiing in Verbier.

Becoming a ski instructor felt like a natural step for me. It’s very rewarding watching someone gain confidence and fall in love with skiing.

Aside from skiing, I keep myself busy cycling, playing golf, and staying active with hockey and CrossFit. I’m also a huge rugby fan, although I’d never been too great at it. Outside of sport I’ve received my degree in geographical sciences from Durham.
