Get to know Tom

Hi, I’m Tom. I’ve been teaching skiing for 5 years and love helping my clients develop their skills and confidence on the slopes.

I first started skiing at the age of 17, taught by my dad, who was also an instructor. Over the past 5 years, I’ve been training, taking exams, and perfecting my craft to get where I am today. One of my proudest moments was passing my Level 3 exam, an achievement of mine that reinforced my commitment to ski instructing.

You’ll often find me off-piste or freeriding when I’m not teaching, although I enjoy a bit of everything. From skiing the bumps to hitting the snow park in springtime, I’m always looking for new ways to enjoy the slopes.

What I love most about teaching is seeing the progress my guests make. It is very rewarding to watch someone overcome challenges or conquer a nerve-racking slope.

During the summer, I usually work as a chef, but I also enjoy climbing, downhill biking, and learning to play guitar. Verbier has become my home over the years, and I love exploring the stunning mountain landscapes all year round.
