Our Les Gets Ski School is situated in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, a vast ski area where the sun shines over the perfect pistes with Mont Blanc on the horizon. Our international team of Ski Instructors also works across Morzine and Avoriaz, so they know the area like the back of their hand.
We offer a variety of ski lessons and coaching tailored to all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced skier, our expert instructors are here to help you improve.
Our dedicated team in Les Gets is committed to continuous development. Our highly qualified ski instructors have undergone rigorous training and shadow local guides to familiarize themselves with the best off-piste terrain. They have also taken specialized courses in freestyle and avalanche safety.

How do you get to Les Gets?
Most people that use air travel fly into Geneva as it’s less than 100 km drive to Les Gets. There are shuttle buses from 25-50€ per person, or you can take a private taxi. There are also shuttle bus services from Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble, but for the higher price of between 60-100€ per person.

Alternatively, you can take a train to Cluses or Thonon les bains and then take either a public or shuttle bus or a private taxi into resort.

Is Les Gets good for beginners?
If you’re a complete beginner, as an adult or child, Les Gets is a good ski area for first timers. With 13 blue runs and 7 green runs, there is plenty of choice to get you up on your feet.
Les Gets also has plenty of ski schools to choose from, with native english speakers and excellent customer service. Here at New Generation, we have small groups for adults and children or private lessons where individual students can get one-on-one coaching from our fully qualified instructors. In school holidays, ski schools are much busier, so it’s best to book ahead of time to get a good deal.

Is Les Gets snow-sure?
Les Gets does sit on the lower end of the scale, in terms of altitude, so it does get affected by warmer temperatures towards the end of the season. But most people who stay in Les gets can easily access the neighbouring village of Avoriaz which sits at closer to 2,000m.
Morzine and Les Gets’ do have heavily wooded slopes which provide good protection from bad weather.

Les Gets is a reasonably expensive resort. There are plenty of lively bars and restaurants where you can splash the cash or cheaper places to eat on a budget if you’d prefer.
