Private snowboard lessons are completely tailored to your needs. You can enjoy one-on-one coaching or share an instructor with friends. Lessons can be on or off-piste, and we can focus on coaching, guiding or a mixture of both.
2-hour private snowboard lessons are a great way to get focused coaching on specific techniques or areas of improvement. They can be a great way to start the week, or you can take a short lesson each day to help you make consistent improvements throughout the week. We don’t have a huge amount of time to explore in a 2-hour lesson, so your session will be mainly focused on drills and skills.
Private snowboarding lessons are the most flexible options New Generation offers. You can book a one-off session as a refresher at the start of your holiday to build confidence and focus on a specific goal.
When you book your lessons, you’ll have the opportunity to share what you want to achieve. Our team will use this information to help select the perfect snowboarding instructor. If they need any more details, they will reach out before your lessons begin.
In the days leading up to your snowboarding lessons, you will receive a couple of emails from us, confirming where you’ll meet your instructor and letting you know their name if you don’t already.
When you arrive for your first lesson, your instructor will quickly double-check that they have all the correct information. If needed, they will provide you with avalanche safety equipment for off-piste lessons.
Then, you’re all set to hit the slopes!
To get the most out of your private snowboarding lessons, we recommend being clear about what you want from your time with us and sharing it in as much detail as possible. This will help our team find the perfect snowboard instructor to guide your sessions or take you off-piste.
Try to keep the people in the group at similar ability levels. Our team can manage groups with varying levels, but safety is our top priority. We’ll stick to runs that are suitable for the least experienced snowboarder in the group, so more advanced riders might find it less challenging.
If you’re planning on snowboarding off-piste, please let us know in advance. We need to ensure your instructor has the necessary safety gear for everyone who requires it. Our team also likes to start planning ahead by checking snow conditions and avalanche risk in the areas they think would be best for your group.
Prices, duration and availability vary slightly by resort, based on our live availability.
