What will you learn in our Private Snowboard Lessons?

Private Snowboard Lessons Overview

Private lessons are our most flexible type of lesson, which is exactly what you need when learning to snowboard. Enjoy one-on-one coaching or share an instructor with friends of a similar level. You can choose from coaching or guiding (or a mix of the two!) Lessons can be on or off-piste, it’s up to you!

Ideas for Private Lessons

    • First-day refresher
    • Confidence builder after an accident or injury
    • Guiding (on or off-piste)
    • Try something different eg freestyle, a day in the park, split boarding
    • Master a specific skill

Short Morning Snowboarding Lessons

A morning session is a good option for taking your snowboarding to the next level. The pistes will be firm and perfectly groomed, which will help those wanting to practice their turns or have a go at carving. Morning snowboarding lessons are the best option for later into the Spring too, as the sun heats up the snow over lunch and can make it harder and heavier to board.

Long Morning Snowboarding Lessons

Opt for a longer Private Snowboarding Lesson if you’d like to perfect your technique and spend some one-on-one time with our experienced snowboard instructors. The slightly longer lesson length will enable you to make more significant gains and practice drills set by your instructor with direct feedback.

Our Private Snowboarding Lessons can also be off-piste. So, a more extended morning snowboard lesson makes a good option for those looking for an adventure outside of the resort boundaries.

Afternoon Snowboarding Lessons

Our afternoon private snowboard lessons are the cheapest option for one-on-one coaching. But of course, you can invite your friends to join you if you’d prefer, and we take up to 8 participants per group. Please note that it’s more beneficial to share a lesson with others of a similar ability so you can also learn at the same pace.

All Day Snowboarding Lessons

If you’d like to perfect your technique, learn to nail a new trick in the park or explore the backcountry, choose an all-day private snowboard lesson. You’ll soon find yourself closer to your initial goal, and you’ll see the progress you’ve made after an all-day lesson.

We can offer split-boarding sessions, park sessions or technical clinics. These private snowboard lessons are tailored to your needs to ensure you reach your snowboarding goals.

Snowboarding FAQ’s

No. We are really proud of our diverse, fun and friendly international team. Boasting some of the best instructors from around the world. Hailing from England to Edinburgh, Austria to Australia, and everything in between. All of our instructors speak good English, and most importantly, they have extensive experience teaching in English. Many of our instructors are native English speakers but that’s not the only important factor we consider when we recruit our instructor team. Our instructors are carefully selected for their teaching ability, people skills, and passion for the sport, as well as their fluency in English. We think this makes our team a well-rounded bunch and it means that we also have other language skills should you require them.

No. You’ll need to buy your own lift pass. We’re happy to recommend which liftpass you’ll need, depending on your level.

Depending on which resort you’re heading to, requirements will vary. Refer to the ski school pages for resort-specific recommendations.

Alternatively, we’re always here to help. Get in touch for more info about lift passes in your resort and for your specific lesson.

We teach snowboarding in all of our resorts minus Verbier in Switzerland and Serre Chevalier in France.

Helmets are advised but not compulsory.

Depending on age and ability, children can snowboard all day. The younger the child, the shorter the lesson length, as they will tire quickly.

For kids’ private lessons which are longer than 2 hours, we’ll generally stop for a break, so we suggest you give your child up to 6€ for a hot chocolate and a snack in case they get hungry.
